Our newest program of public interest is the Holmes County Story Stones. Similar to the recent trend of rock painting and hiding, Story Stones are also ‘hid’ on public property. The difference is, instead of hand painted images; Story Stones feature a picture of one of our many historic sites of interest. The Stones also feature our website, which will give the Story of the site depicted, hence the name Story Stones.  Cassandra Pollard Smith is the Story Stones Program Leader.
