This. Place. Matters. Three small words individually, but when combined, these three small words speak volumes. Everyone has places that are important to them, whether those places are churches, schools, a barn, an old family tree or an abandoned Railroad station. Places they care about. Places that matter.

This Place Matters is national campaign that encourages people to celebrate the places that are meaningful to them and to their communities.  It is preservation through the eyes of the beholder, providing a simple but powerful message; this place matters to me.

We are inviting the residents and visitors of Holmes county to share the places that matter to them.

2. Take a selfie photo, or have a photo of yourself taken with the THIS PLACE MATTERS sign in front of your selected place that matters.
