EXPERIENCE THE HISTORY OF HOLMES COUNTY!

 

Through interactive exhibits and enlightening programs, our museum illustrates the past and present of Florida’s Holmes County.

 

Exhibits, artifacts, maps, documents, photographs and special events all tell the stories of Holmes County's inhabitants, their lives, lineages and local legends.

 

The Museum highlights Holmes County, the historical last frontier of rural Florida. All artifacts housed in the Museum have been donated by residents.

  • Turpentine and Moonshine History

  • Early Towns and Settlements

We invite you to visit the Holmes County Museum. Admission is free.

Our Museum is operated by volunteers and is open monthly on the Second Saturday from 10am until 2pm.

​

We are located at 412 West Kansas Avenue in Bonifay, Three blocks West of Hwy 79.
